Dell CC852 SATAu 3.5" Hard Drive Tray & Interposer for PowerVault MD1000 MD3000 MD3000i

Dell Part Numbers: CC852, D962C (tray); PN939, HP592 (Interposer)

These drive trays and interposers were removed from Dell PowerVault MD1000, MD3000 and MD3000i storage arrays. They will accept Dell OEM 3.5" SATA hard drives and are required for installation of SATA hard drives into PowerVault MD1000, MD3000 and MD3000i enclosures for dual-path controller redundancy. They are NOT required for installation of SAS (Serial-Attached SCSI) drives in these enclosures. They will NOT work with older 80pin SCSI drives used in 8th generation and older Dell servers. Hard drives are sold separately.

Each tray will include 4 screws for mounting hard drive.

Better than Dell...

Dell said these were required in our MD1000, yet, they wouldn't sell me a blank trays w/o a hard drives! These work just as well. Shipped fast!

Didn't realize I needed these for installation of drives in an MD1000. Dell no longer sells them. I was able to find them at Flagship and they shipped fast!
