Dell PowerEdge R810 Servers
The PowerEdge R810 server was designed to be a rack-dense, 4-socket workhorse saddled between the versatile PowerEdge R710 and the mammoth PowerEdge R910. It is an Intel-based, 2U server designed with virtualization in mind by way of its multiple high-performance options. Featuring multi-core technology from the ground up, the PowerEdge R810 finds its way into enterprise-level environments from high-end virtualization to SQL database applications. Building on the dependability and reliability of previous generations, the PowerEdge R810 finds its strengths in greater processing power, higher rack density and almost two times the memory capacity of the PowerEdge R710.
Like previous server generations, the PowerEdge R810 features a multitude of configuration options including up to four (4) Intel Xeon eight-core 6500 or 7500 series processors, up to 512GB RAM and the space for up to six (6) 2.5" SAS, SATA or solid-state drives. It also includes two dual-port embedded Gigabit NIC ports, optional dual redundant power supplies and six (6) PCI Express riser slots. The PowerEdge R810 has the versatility to handle some of the most strenuous workloads of any datacenter.
