The 9337 Disk Array Subsystem Model 440 is a high-performance model that comes with four 1.967GB disk drives for a minimum 7.86GB of basic DASD. Up to four additional 1.967GB disk drives may be ordered with feature code #1248 for a maximum of 15.73GB of basic DASD or 13.76GB of high availability mode DASD. This model features a controller with a 4MB non-volatile write cache, 8MB Data Store, and a faster internal microprocessor that significantly improves system performance in both interactive and batch applications. The 9337-440 attaches to the 9406 Models D, E, and F, or to the AS/400 Advanced System Models 300, 310, and 320.
