This flex bay allows up to 2 hard drives in a RAID 0 or RAID 1 configuration for the operating system.  It is independant of the main backplane.  The flex bay includes it's own backplane.

This bay goes into a 5-1/4" slot adjacent to the optical drive and plugs into the motherboard SCSI connection or a PERC 4 controller.

Mounting rails are included.  No cables are included.
